The program offers more than just the technology. It also offers the opportunity to connect to SAP customers and Startup Focus Alliance partners.

It’s refreshing to see that SAP is facilitating these engagements among the startup community and it’s customer/partner community. I also recall that a select number of startups get free entry into SAP’s SAPPHIRENOW event and SAP TechEd.

    Very compelling offer
    1. No IP sharing – SFP doesnt take IP from the startup. Startup retains 100% ownership of the intellectual property.
    2. No stake – SFP doesnt take any stake in the startup. It doesnt invest in the startup financially or take sweat equity.

Not only does the startups get visibility with SAP internal events, but also to external industry focus events. This gives Startups an opportunity to truly seek market validation of there solution, powered by SAP HANA. Last year some of the startups closed 50 business deals.

Free entry into SAP’s SAPPHIRENOW event and SAP TechEd is great. How are the startups selected?
